Fruit Shop Schloss Dyck

Obstverkauf

Welcome to our shop selling fruit produced in the orchards of Schloss Dyck. We are looking forward to your visit to Dyck and hope to serve you in our shop soon.

Apple cultivation at Schloss Dyck has a long tradition. Originally it was developed to provide the large castle district with apples, but in the course of time, it was expanded into a commercial enterprise. For more than 50 years, our customers from near and far have been provided with delicious apples. A new and suitable building was constructed at the entrance to Schloss Dyck directly adjacent to a large parking area on the occasion of the Regional Garden Show. You can easily access the park and castle from here.

You will find a wide range of fresh pome fruits, stone fruits and berries from the “neighbourhood” - directly from the producer - in our farm-gate shop. Besides apples, we sell pears, sweet cherries, plums, damsons, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, asparagus, potatoes, apple juice, apple cider, apple crisps, typical syrups (“Krauts”) from the Rhineland , jams, fruit purees, honey, wine, semi-sparkling wine (Secco) made from red currants, and a lot more.

Our apples are on offer throughout the year. In April, the season for asparagus starts, followed by strawberries at the end of May. June is the main season for our sweet cherries. In July the first summer apples are ready for harvesting, and plums are especially tasty. In August we harvest our best summer apples, and from September onwards you can buy Elstar and Rubinette apples followed by many other nice autumn and winter varieties. Braeburn, harvested in October, is the last in the series. Autumn and winter apples are stored for you in our apple storages until the first summer apples sound the bell for the new harvest.

We are looking forward to your visit!
